Russick Smith

Russick is an accomplished, multi instrumentalist/ composer and performs with his cello in trees and other non- traditional, site- specific venues. I met Russick in Breckenridge CO in 2017 while we were both there, independently participating in WAVE festival.

I got to see him perform with his loop and effects pedals, and PA, on a small, grassy island in the middle of the rushing Blue River in downtown Breckenridge. I felt super- lucky to find him willing to record for me on the spot, after a brief, first introduction following the 3 day festival.
